Clark Public Utilities will hold a Virtual Home & Garden Idea Fair, an online version of the utility’s annual springtime community event. Community members can visit the virtual fair at homeandgardenideafair.com.

The 2020 show would have been the event’s 29th consecutive year and was originally scheduled for April 24-26, but it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The virtual idea fair is intended to replicate the feel of the regular event, which invites community members to meet with home and garden vendors at the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds.

In a press release, Clark Public Utilities described the virtual fair as a resource for property owners who have been itching to get started on home improvement projects while they’re stuck at home due to the pandemic.

The fair is typically paired with a food drive to support the Clark County Food Bank and cash donation drive for Operation Warm Heart, a program providing home heating grants to families in financial crisis. Community members can still make financial donations to both institutions, the agency said.
