The Health Systems Quality Assurance Division of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.

In December, the Massage Therapist Program entered an agreement with massage therapist Brenda Q. Mills that indefinitely suspends her credential. Mills didn’t complete required continuing education.

In January, the Dental Commission filed an amended statement of charges against dentist and moderate sedation with parenteral agents permit holder Ellis Burke Jardine, to add legal references.

In February, the Pharmacy Commission denied a pharmacy assistant credential to Kevona Daunes Penn, who in 2018 was convicted of third-degree unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

In February, the Unlicensed Practice Program entered an agreement with Luis Munoz that requires him to cease and desist from practicing as a chiropractor without a license, and to pay a $300 fine. Munoz, who lacks a chiropractor license, advertised and performed “alphabiotics, the alignment process” for a fee.
