Vancouver police are investigating a robbery during which a man demanded money from a woman withdrawing cash from an ATM.

The woman was making the withdrawal from her vehicle around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Umpqua Bank, 11515 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd. The suspect came up to her car and pounded on the window, Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said.

He demanded money, and she handed over $120 and her debit card, Kapp said. The man ran to a nearby US Bank and got into the back of a dark blue, four-door sedan with a spoiler, she said. Two men were in the front seats of the car.

The woman was not harmed. Police are continuing to investigate.
