The Vancouver-based M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust announced last week it distributed $14.8 million in grants to Pacific Northwest charities this winter. This included 34 grants totaling $4.7 million for Washington nonprofits.
King’s Way Christian Schools in Vancouver was among the recipients. Its $136,500 grant will support a STEM laboratory renovation.
The winter awards are separate from the trust’s emergency COVID-19 support grants. Trustees met and discussed winter grant distribution prior to the communitywide response to the coronavirus outbreak.
