Our weather reminds me of when my children were younger, and while on a long trip (or even a short one to the beach) they would ask every now and again, “Are we there yet?” Well, if you have been daydreaming about a week of sunny and warm weather in springtime, it may be arriving in 24 hours.
I mentioned Thursday the weather forecast models were discussing whether to render their blessings upon us and hadn’t quite reached an agreement. Well, finally they agreed to bestow some sunny and warm weather to us beginning Monday.
Today, we still run a risk of a shower or two, and it will still be a bit on the cool side of things. I am thinking by Thursday we will reach our first 70-degree day. Enough of this cold stuff. Although after this mostly sunny and mild week, it could return to cool and damp weather. For now, we live in the present and take things one day at a time.
At least it will make things seem a bit promising while we are hunkering at home. Maybe get outside and do some yard work, prepare the garden and other early spring activities. I doubt you’ll have any social distancing worries alone in your yard and garden, other than the robins stalking you for earthworms. Let the sunshine begin!
