Nominees for Week 4 prep football player of the week

Voting will remain open through Tuesday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian prep football player of the week for the week ending Sept. 27.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Tuesday, with results announced in Wednesday’s edition of The Columbian.

Previous winners may not be nominated against until the postseason. Players may not be nominated in consecutive weeks.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

The nominees

  • HUNTER ABRAMS, RIDGEFIELD: Abrams rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns in a league win over Mark Morris.
  • PEYTON BRAMMER, HOCKINSON: Brammer caught seven passes for 162 yards and three touchdowns in win over Columbia River.
  • ALEX GEHRMANN, UNION: The junior quarterback in a spot start passed for 302 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Chiawana.
  • WYATT PARTRIDGE, CASTLE ROCK: Partridge rushed for 200 yards and three TDs and returned a kickoff 85 yards for a TD in a win over Elma.
  • BRYTEN SCHMITZ, LA CENTER: Schmitz rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown in La Center’s win over Kalama.
