Washington State University Vancouver has been awarded a 2019 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity Award from Insight Into Diversity magazine, the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in higher education, in recognition of an outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion.
“I am very proud of the work faculty, staff and students have done to make WSU Vancouver a welcoming community that is committed to equity and inclusion,” said WSU Vancouver Chancellor Mel Netzhammer. “We have more work to do, but the HEED Award is evidence that we are moving in the right direction.”
