Recap of last week’s Clark College sports results, plus what’s coming up for the Penguins:

WOMEN’S SOCCER

Record: 3-3-1 overall, 3-0-1 NWAC South

Last week: tied Portland 0-0, beat Rogue 4-1

This week: Southwestern Oregon at Clark, 2 p.m. Wednesday; bye Saturday

Notable: Freshman Kiara Kallie (Washougal HS) scored two goals in the win over Rogue; Clark is ranked seventh in the NWAC coaches poll.

MEN’S SOCCER

Record: 3-1-1 overall, 1-1-1 NWAC South

Last week: tied Portland 1-1, beat Rogue 2-0

This week: Lane at Clark, 4 p.m. Wednesday; bye Saturday.

Notable: Freshman goalkeeper Dylan De Baldo (Skyview HS) made two saves at Rogue in recording the shutout in his first game.

VOLLEYBALL

Record: 9-10 overall, 1-2 NWAC South

Last week: won at Southwestern Oregon 3-2; lost at Rogue 3-0.

This week: Linn Benton at Clark, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday; Clark at Umpqua, 6:30 p.m. Friday

Notable: Sophomore middle blocker Payton Walker had 10 kills in each match last week.

CROSS COUNTRY

Coming up: The Penguins will be at the NWAC Preview Saturday at Lacey.
