King’s Way Christian was in control from the get-go Saturday afternoon and earned its first victory of the season, winning at Bellevue Christian 41-20.
“I liked how the offense came out and played very well,” King’s Way coach Brian Rodriguez said. “Each drive we averaged eight or more plays.”
Sophomore wide receiver Bryson Mets caught 10 passes for 110 yards and three touchdowns for the Knights (1-2).
Senior quarterback Kemper Shrock completed 19 of 28 passes for 238 yards and four touchdowns.
Connor Delamarter led a balanced rushing attack with 78 yards on 12 carries and a touchdown.
Alec Charlton rushed 11 times for 73 yards and a touchdown, and Kobi Cason had four catches for 49 yards and a TD.
