Heng found guilty of murder, arson at Sifton Market

Mitchell Heng dissolved into tears and collapsed to the floor outside the courtroom Thursday evening after a Clark County jury found him guilty of killing a clerk and setting fire to Sifton Market in January 2017.

As a shackled Heng sobbed uncontrollably, two corrections deputies helped him up and, with one at each side, assisted Heng out of the courthouse.

Camas woman faces murder allegation in death of husband

A woman accused of fatally shooting her husband Sunday night at their Camas residence told investigators “he attacked me and said he was going to kill me,” court records show.

However, the couple’s teenage children said their parents were having marital issues and that their mother had asked them to leave the house that evening,

State health officials investigating Vancouver woman’s death after root canal

The Washington State Department of Health is investigating a report of the death of a Vancouver woman that occurred after she received treatment at Wright & Beatty Endodontics in Vancouver.

Julie Graham, a public information officer for DOH, said the investigation has been authorized as a priority, but she said there isn’t a known timeline for the investigation’s conclusion.
