2A GSHL football: Hockinson 62, R.A. Long 14

Levi Crum’s first four completions of the game went for touchdowns as he helped lead Hockinson to victory in the 2A Greater St. Helens League opener.

Crum completed 7 of 11 passes for 180 yards. He had touchdown to Makaio Jaurez, Jeremiah Faulstick, and two to Peyton Brammer.

Daniel Thompson led Hockinson with 79 yards rushing, including a 30-yard touchdown run.

Brammer had three receptions for 67 yards and two touchdowns.

The Hockinson defense did not allow R.A. Long a first down until the second quarter. Dakota Souders intercepted a pass on a fake punt play and returned it 25 yards for a touchdown.

Cam Thelen and Jason Kerr also had interceptions in the game.

R.A. Long’s Gage Kotera had a game high 10 receptions for 159 yards and two touchdowns.
