Vancouver police seized more than a dozen pounds of drugs from an apartment last week in the Fisher’s Landing East neighborhood, they said Tuesday.

On Sept. 11, the department’s Safe Streets Task Force and Neighborhood Response Team seized 13 pounds of heroin, more than a pound of methamphetamine and cocaine and two firearms at 16506 S.E. 29th St., Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said. Kevin Carillo-Luna, 19, and Ricardo Estrada-Vazquez, 22, were detained on federal charges.

The seizure came after detectives applied for a search warrant as part of a drug investigation, Kapp said. Carillo-Luna and Estrada-Vazquez are expected to be charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver along with firearms charges.

The seized drugs represent roughly 58,000 doses, Kapp said.
