I guess it is about time we have a little go around with some rain showers, don’t you? A large trough of low pressure is forecast to park off the coast and send several surges of moisture our way with scattered showers and drizzle. Maybe a thunderstorm? I think by midweek we dry out somewhat and warm back to more seasonal September temperatures.
Some of those showers began Saturday and by 5 p.m., Vancouver had measured 0.04 of an inch.
But then long-range forecast models have another realm of moisture over us by next weekend for showers. Nothing to worry about, just the normal transition into fall months and the associated weather that comes with it.
Between my own observations and that of others, I have seen an abundance of spiders lately. My tipping bucket rain gauge was so entwined with spider webs it took a good hosing of water to get it operational again. Have you seen plenty of busy spiders at your place?
