Clark College Mature Learning is looking for a media assistant to help utilize the “Smart Room” podium and sound amplification systems. Volunteers may help create PowerPoint presentations and perform routine classroom assistance.

Divine Consign seeks customer service assistance to help customers with clothing and home furnishing purchases as well as pricing, tagging, and moving furniture that will be sold to fund projects for nonprofit organizations in Southwest Washington.

Dog Owners Group for Park Access Washington, or DOGPAW, invites members and other users of the organization’s off-leash dog parks to help clean up one of its parks on the first Saturday of each month. Meet at 10 a.m. on Sept. 7 at Kane Dog Park, behind the playground and ball fields at Hockinson Meadows Park, 10910 N.E. 172nd Ave. Bring work gloves and yard tools. Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest needs girls guides to mentor girls ages 6-18 with skills and experiences enabling them to access a bright and economically independent future. Guides facilitate the after-school 90 to 120 minute programs. Commitment is three hours per week after four hours of required training.

Habitat for Humanity is looking for backroom assistants to help process donations, including sorting, cleaning, organizing, pricing and breaking down recyclables to observing and fixing safety hazards. Cashiers and sales assistants to help customers and keep the store tidy are also needed. Many shifts are available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week.

SCORE Vancouver invites volunteers with business know-how to serve as business mentors, workshop partner or subject matter experts, helping entrepreneurs start small businesses and achieve new levels of success.

Vancouver Public Schools are in need of food pantry support volunteers to help organize, set up, clean up and distribute food donations to participating families at Marshall Elementary School. The pantry is open to families from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second and fourth Fridays during the school year.
