Friends of the Carpenter raised $106,705 at an annual fundraiser dinner and auction on Friday to support its ministry services, according to a news release from the nonprofit.
The faith-based organization also announced a new pre-apprenticeship program at the event, held at WareHouse ’23 that drew over 200 guests.
Friends of the Carpenter hosts woodworking events, meant to provide outreach to vulnerable members of the community, at its day facility at 1600 W. 20th St.
