A 20-year-old Camas woman faces a DUI charge after crossing Highway 500 and plowing into a power pole, according to Washington State Patrol.

Madison R. Weckerlin walked away from the crash uninjured, according to a WSP crash memo.

Weckerlin was westbound on Northeast 53rd Street in a 2016 Kia Soul, approaching Highway 500 and failed to brake for a stop sign. Her Kia crossed both lanes of the highway and struck a utility pole, which caused power lines to go down over the road.

Troopers said Weckerlin caused the crash by failing to stop.
