The Building Industry Association of Clark County honored winners of awards to participants in the New Homes Tour at an Oct. 10 dinner meeting.
The tour in June showcased 25 homes from 14 association builders and included a preview event called Chef, Hop & Vine in which area chefs were paired with local breweries and wineries at five of the homes in the lineup. Attendees voted to choose the winners of nine awards, four for the homes and six for the food and drink portion.
Camas Meadows and Grains of Wrath took home the Best Pairing award, and Sixth Avenue Bistro won the Best Presentation award. Best Wine went to Heathen Estate Vineyard, and Best Brew to Grains of Grath. Sixth Avenue Bistro and Heathen Brewing jointly won Best Overall, and Camas Meadows took home Most Creative Menu.
For the home awards, it was a sweep. “The Dalton” home from Affinity Homes took home Best Kitchen, Most Liveable Floor Plan and Best of Show.
