One person was displaced after a house fire Wednesday in Yacolt.

Clark County Fire District 13 was dispatched at 1:37 p.m. to 408 E. Wilson St. After arriving at the two-story house with an attached three-car garage, firefighters forced entry and located a fire upstairs in the master bedroom, Fire Capt. Chuck Andrus said.

The fire was extinguished in less than five minutes, Andrus said. No one was home at the time, and no injuries were reported. The house sustained fire damage in the master bedroom and smoke damage throughout.

The Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause and determining damage estimates. Clark County Fire District 3 also responded to the scene.
