Columbia River’s Isaac Bibb-O’Neill is The Columbian prep football player of the week for the week ending Oct. 19.
Bibb-O’Neill beat out Evergreen’s Derrick Webb for the honor.
Bibb-O’Neill rushed for 184 yards on just nine carries and scored three touchdowns in a win over Woodland.
Winners may not be nominated again until the postseason, and players may not be nominated in consecutive weeks.
The other nominees
- HUNTER ABRAMS, RIDGEFIELD: Abrams carried the ball 31 times for 285 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Woodland.
- LEVI CRUM, HOCKINSON: Crum passed for 244 yards and three touchdowns, rushed for 87 yards and had a key interception late in a win over Kelso.
- BAILEY MEEK, KING’S WAY CHRISTIAN: Meek led the Knights with nine tackles as well as forcing and recovering two fumbles in a win over Columbia-White Salmon.
- DERRICK WEBB, EVERGREEN: Webb rushed for four touchdowns, forced and recovered a fumble and had two interceptions in a win over Mountain View.
