The following six Boy Scouts from the Columbia River District passed their Eagle Scout Board of Review in September, and advanced to the rank of Eagle Scout. Find out more at www.cpcbsa.org.

Troop 310

Curran Cliffton Connelly, a Columbia River High School graduate and University of Washington student, led a group of Scouts and adult volunteers in developing a flag retirement ceremony guide for Salmon Creek American Legion Post 176, with 188 volunteer hours. Connelly, 17, is the son of Eric and Christine Connelly.

Brandon Allen Lepley, a senior at Ridgefield High School, led a group of Scouts and adult volunteers in building a horse stall for SpiritHorse Therapeutic Center with 107 volunteer hours. Lepley, 18, is the son of Bruce and Nancy Lepley.

Troop 358

Grant Douglas Myers, a sophomore at Vancouver iTech Preparatory, led a group of Scouts and adult volunteers in building storage bins for the Giving Closet, with 173 volunteer hours. Myers, 15, is the son of Douglas and Julie Myers.

Troop 499

Andrew Derek Vanderwood, a senior at Camas High School, led a group of Scouts and adult volunteers in creating a safety drop off zone for Skybridge Middle School, with 96 volunteer hours. Vanderwood, 17, is the son of Derek and Allison Vanderwood.

Troop 571

Gabriel Taylor Tavita Afa Koenig, a senior at Hockinson High School, led a group of Scouts and adult volunteers in a supply drive for the Humane Society for Southwest Washington with 72 volunteer hours. Koenig, 17, is the son of Don and Mary Koenig.

Troop 648

Connor Chan Sorensen, a senior at Henrietta Lacks Health & Bioscience High School, led a group of Scouts and adult volunteers in building and installing Mini Free Library for the high school, with 115 volunteer hours. Sorensen, 17, is the son of Judy Chan and Robert Sorensen.
