The Prairie Falcons dominated the first half of this 3A GSHL matchup with six trips to the endzone — five rushing and one passing.
Senior quarterback A.J. Dixson had 139 yards rushing with four of the TD runs. He also relied heavily on running back Devante Clayton who had 8 carries for 68 yards.
Hudson’s Bay struggled on offense in the first half — their only first downs coming from a couple of Prairie penalties.
But in the second half they gained momentum scoring rushing TDs in the third and fourth quarters. The second touchdown came after an impressive scramble by Raven Barnes to escape an almost certain sack. Instead he got outside the pocket and connected with Derek Barnes for a 28-yard gain.
