Issac Bibb-O’Neil rushed for 184 yards and three touchdowns on just nine carries as Columbia River kept its playoff hopes alive with a drubbing of R.A. Long in a 2A Greater St. Helens League contest at Columbia River High School.
The Chieftains, who scored touchdowns on four of their first five possessions and racked up nearly 400 yards of total offense, improved to 3-2 in 2A GSHL play (3-4 overall) with the victory and can clinch a playoff spot with a win over Woodland next week.
Mason Priddy added 133 yards passing and two touchdowns, and Atticus Kurtz scored a rushing and a receiving touchdown for the Chieftains. Cade Lujan added two field goals.
The Chieftain defense held R.A. Long (0-4, 1-6) to just 27 yards of total offense. The Lumberjacks face their crosstown rivals Mark Morris next week.
