Voter registration deadlines are fast approaching ahead of the Nov. 5 general election.
Ballots are in the mail to all registered voters, according to a news release from the Clark County Auditor’s Office. Those who don’t receive one by Thursday can call the Clark County Elections office at 564-397-2345 to request a replacement ballot. Replacements are also available by mail at P.O. Box 8815, Vancouver, 98666-8815; email at elections@clark.wa.gov; or in person at the elections office, 1408 Franklin St., Vancouver.
The deadline for voter registrations and registration updates online or by mail is 5 p.m. Oct. 28. The in-person deadline is 8 p.m. Nov. 5.
Ballots will be scanned starting at 6 p.m. on Election Day. Results are expected on clarkvotes.org around 8:15 p.m.
A voters’ pamphlet has been distributed to all households in the county and is also available at clarkvotes.org. The website also has a sample ballot listing all contests and ballot measures.
