The Union boys tennis team secured its fifth straight 4A Greater St. Helens League title after its 6-0 sweep of Battle Ground in Wednesday’s match.
The win comes after the Titans’ 6-0 victory over Camas when Naman Thawani won in three sets — a match that lasted well over three hours — at No. 1 singles.
Wednesday, the Titans won all six matches in straight sets, including a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles by Brayden Shoemaker. Grant Goertzen and Nate Burbank, playing No. 1 doubles, won 6-1, 6-0.
