American Red Cross of Southwest Washington is looking for couriers to pick up and deliver lifesaving blood products. Mileage reimbursement is offered. Donor ambassadors are needed to welcome and register donors, help monitor donors after giving blood, offer refreshments, and assist medical staff as needed. Day, evening and weekend shifts are available.

Battle Ground Health Care is always in need of help throughout the clinic, including reception, dental clinic manager, dental hygienist, dental reception, dentists, dietitian, medical records, phlebotomist, nursing, and in rehab services and chronic pain management.

Clark College ESL Program is in need of tutors to listen to students read, correct errors, help students with phonics and spelling, and provide general support to students and staff.

Clark County StreamTeam needs volunteers to plant hundreds of native trees on Oct. 26. No experience is necessary, morning refreshments, lunch, training and tools provided. All volunteers under the age of 18 who will not be accompanied by a legal guardian will need to bring a signed release. Clark County Veterans Assistance Center seeks greeters to meet and greet veterans, direct them to resources after determining the type of assistance needed, set appointments in the calendar, make coffee and prepare light food items, and answer phones.

Furry Friends is looking for a volunteer who can lead or co-lead next year’s Furry Friends’ auction, preferably with experience working on auctions or large events and a detail-oriented attitude. This is the largest fundraiser Furry Friends holds each year, bringing in much needed funds for the medical needs and housing for the cats in their care. Furry Friends is also in need of Halfway House shelter assistants to play and socialize with cats, give medications, feed/water, clean litter boxes, and more.
