Ridgefield defeated RA Long behind the Spudders’ balanced offensive game plan and a suffocating defense.

Ridgefield scored on its first seven possessions and allowed just a single first down the entire game.

Quarterback Luke Price was efficient, completing 11 of his 16 attempts to six different receivers including two touchdowns. Nine of his 11 completions went for double digit yardage while each of the five incompletions were ruled dropped passes.

The Spudder ground game was just as formidable. Five different players found the endzone on running plays and the team averaged just under 6.5 yards per carry.

Ridgefield linebacker Sam Everett had two interceptions and returned one for a touchdown. He returned the other for a score as well, but the touchdown was negated due to penalty after the turnover.

The Lumberjacks were held to minus-36 yards rushing and allowed over 60 points for the third time this season.
