Ken Fisher, founder and chairman of Fisher Investments, issued an apology after making offensive remarks to an audience at a San Francisco conference on Tuesday.

Fisher, who lives in Camas, was accused of saying that getting clients for his investment firm was similar to “getting into a girl’s pants,” according to an article on Bloomberg.

Fisher apologized in a statement but also said that some audience members who took offense misunderstood what he was saying.

“I have given a lot of talks, a lot of times, in a lot of places and said stuff like this and never gotten that type of response,” Fisher told Bloomberg.
