Several progressive organizations will hold a sign waving event at two locations in Vancouver this weekend to show support for impeaching President Donald Trump.

Hosted by MoveOn-Clark County, Indivisible Greater Vancouver and several other groups, the event will take place at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The sign-wavers will gather at two locations: the intersection of Chkalov Drive and Mill Plain Boulevard, and the Interstate 5 overpass on East Evergreen Boulevard near the Vancouver Community Library.

“President Donald Trump’s efforts to invite foreign interference in the 2020 election is a profound abuse of power and a threat to our democracy. Momentum is on our side, and we must urge Congress to move swiftly with the impeachment process,” a media release from MoveOn-Clark County and Indivisible Greater Vancouver states.
