The League of Women Voters on Wednesday will kick off a series of candidate forums for those running for elected office.

Candidates for Port of Vancouver commissioner, Clark County Fire District 6 commissioner, Vancouver City Council and Vancouver Public Schools Board of Directors will participate in this week’s forum. The event runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St., Vancouver.

This is the first of three forums that will be hosted this month by the League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan organization focused on encouraging community participation in government and politics. For more information and for a list of additional forums, visit https://lwvclarkcounty.org/.
