Letter: Our Creator controls climate

By Daphne Kivinen, Vancouver
Published: October 7, 2019, 6:00am

I truly have compassion for this young Scandinavian girl, Greta Thunberg. Yes, that is what she is: young. It shows in her actions. She appears frightened and doomed. Her rant sounds like one of my children at that age of wanting to be in control. With age comes maturity and wisdom. She may have knowledge of what the climate has been in her immediate past, but does she realize that climate is cyclical? Our Creator is in control of the entire universe. She will find peace if she allows her research to go to His Word.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
