Three 18-year-olds suspected of robbing someone at Orchards Park were arrested early Saturday, according to a Clark County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Just before midnight Friday, Clark County sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call that an armed robbery had just occurred at the park, 9800 N.E. 54th St. The caller said that at least two people, one armed with a shotgun, left the park in a red Toyota Camry headed westbound on Fourth Plain Boulevard.
Vancouver police stopped the car one mile west of the park. Along with sheriff’s deputies and Washington State Patrol troopers, they detained the three suspects. They also found items stolen from the victim and two firearms in the car.
Brianna Molina Martinez, 18, was booked into the Clark County Jail on suspicion of first-degree robbery. Martin L. Bautista-Vincencio and Hector M. Padilla Ruiz, both 18, were booked on suspicion of first-degree robbery and first-degree assault.
They are scheduled to make first appearances Monday in Clark County Superior Court, according to the jail’s roster.
