A multihour standoff in a Hazel Dell neighborhood ended Saturday afternoon with the arrest of a 37-year-old man suspected of threatening his girlfriend and her daughter with a gun the previous day.
At 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jorge Delgado-Perez was arrested on suspicion of two counts of second-degree assault with a firearm and one count of felony harassment, all domestic violence-related. He is scheduled to make a first appearance Monday in Clark County Superior Court, according to the Clark County Jail’s roster.
Deputies on Friday responded to a call from a woman who said her boyfriend pointed a gun at both her and her daughter and threatened to kill them, according to a news release from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
The victims called 911 again at about 10:30 a.m. Saturday to say the man had returned to the house, 2701 N.E. 82nd Way, where they all live. The woman and her daughter fled the home.
