Camas quarterback Jake Blair threw for 243 yards and four touchdowns, all in the first half, as the Papermakers (5-0 overall, 1-0 4A GHSL) routed Heritage on homecoming night at Doc Harris Stadium.
Blair connected with Jackson Clemmer for a 22-yard touchdown on the Papermakers third play of the game and engineered scoring drives on six of Camas’ seven first-half possessions. Clemmer finished with five catches for 99 yards and two touchdowns. Papermakers running back Jacques Badolato-Birdsell had 60 yards rushing and 57 yards receiving with three touchdowns.
Camas sat its starters in the last two quarters but kept the ball moving, opening the second half with a 70-yard kickoff return touchdown from Charlie Bump. On its first play from scrimmage in the third quarter, backup quarterback Blake Ascuitto connected with Eli Sivers for a 45-yard touchdown.
Heritage (2-3, 0-1) scored early in the first quarter on a 58-yard run from Anthony Kee, but struggled to move the ball, mustering just two first downs all game. Kee finished with 76 yards rushing and Isaac Roa added 70 yards on the ground for the Timberwolves.
