HELENA, Mont. — The FBI is seeking the public’s help to identify two men involved in using information gathered from skimming devices placed on ATMs in the Vancouver area to make fraudulent withdrawals from ATMs in western Montana.

The FBI says the men placed the skimming devices in early March and used the information to make withdrawals from ATMs at credit unions in Missoula on March 9 and 10. The investigation found skimming thefts had also occurred in March and April in Deer Lodge, Frenchtown, Butte and Ennis.

The agency issued a wanted poster Tuesday.

FBI spokeswoman Sandra Yi Barker says the agency isn’t releasing how much money was taken.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI’s Salt Lake City Field Office at 801-579-6195.
