A Vancouver woman suspected DUI rolled her vehicle on state Highway 503 north of Battle Ground early Friday, according to Washington State Patrol.

Joanna D. Rogers, 31, was northbound on the highway at Milepost 10, at the edge southwest of Lewisville Regional Park, shortly after 1 a.m. when her red Chevrolet Cavalier left the road to the right, according to a WSP crash memo.

Rogers “overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll on its top and slide into the southbound lanes,” the memo says.

The driver was injured and taken to OHSU Hospital in Portland, troopers said. She was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The state patrol reported that Rogers was driving too fast for conditions, and alcohol or drugs are believed to be a contributing factor in the wreck.
