Medical examiner: Man found in east Vancouver died of alcohol abuse

A man found dead Saturday morning in east Vancouver died of chronic alcohol abuse, according to the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The manner of the 42-year-old Vancouver man’s death was found to be natural. The man was found in bushes near the corner of Southeast 26th Drive and Southeast 172nd Avenue and reported before 10 a.m., according to Vancouver police.

Vancouver police could not initially confirm the cause of death Saturday and classified it as suspicious.
