This past weekend brought the regular season to a close for NCAA Division-III and NAIA football programs nationwide.

But that doesn’t mean the season is over for some Clark County players on teams that are headed to the postseason.

David Aarhus (Camas) helped Chapman complete an undefeated season Saturday. The linebacker will lead his team into a Division-III first round clash against Linfield, which has six local players on the roster, including starting linebacker Tyler Bergeron (Battle Ground).

Blake Roy (Camas) is looking to end his collegiate career on a high note. The senior tight end and the University of Redlands will face Mary Hardin Bayton in the D-III first round.

Back east, Keithen Shepard (Union) will lead MIT into a Division-III first-round game against Muhlenberg. The junior receiver has a team-high 10 touchdowns and 35 catches.

Closer to home, Isaiah Abdul (Camas) is the starting cornerback on an undefeated College of Idaho team. The Yotes are headed into the NAIA playoffs to face Ottawa (Arizona).
