ORCHARDS — About 70 people attended the Cascade Park Kiwanis 11th annual Fall Festival of Service, held at the Fourth Plain Church of the Nazarene. The event honored Steve Wood, the Kiwanian of the Year Award winner. Attendees enjoyed a lasagna dinner donated by the Quarry and served by officers of Key Clubs at Camas, Mountain View, Union and Henrietta Lacks Health and Bioscience high schools. A silent auction helped raise funds to support the Cascade Park Kiwanis service projects, including their four Key Clubs, a fifth Key Club in Shanghai, China, the Kiwanis Doernbecher Children’s Cancer Program, Project Eliminate, Walk and Knock, the Boys and Girls Club, a Fort Vancouver Little League team, Babies in Need, and more.
