KELSO — Josh Webb rushed for 212 yards and two touchdowns and Marshall Coleman rushed for 106 yards and two scores as the Hilanders advanced to the Class 3A state playoffs with 33-20 win over Spanaway Lake.
Coleman threw a 22-yard touchdown pass for Jaden Kay in the first quarter, and Webb broke off a 65-yard touchdown run as Kelso built a 14-0 first-quarter lead that the Hilander took into halftime.
But Spanaway Lake used a long touchdown pass and an interception return to tie the game 14-14 in the third quarter.
Coleman had a long run to set up his 4-yard touchdown run. Webb’s long run set up a 1-yard TD run by Coleman, as Kelso led 26-14 after three quarters.
