Vancouver police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found early Saturday morning along a major street in east Vancouver.
Police and rescue personnel were dispatched at 5:49 a.m. to the 3000 block of Northeast 162nd Avenue to a report of a man down, according to police Sgt. John Schultz.
The man was declared dead at the scene, according to Schultz.
Vancouver police detectives are investigating, according to Schultz. He said the man’s body had signs of injury, but he said detectives are not looking for anyone in connection with the death and do not believe there is any danger posed to the public.
