Clark County will host two open houses as it conducts a regular update to its plan regulating use of shorelines.
State-mandated shoreline master programs guide local land-use policies and shoreline use. They are based on state guidelines and tailored to specific local needs, according to a press release from the county. Under state law, the county must periodically review its plans.
Open houses will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Ridgefield Administrative and Civic Center, 510 Pioneer St., and Nov. 18 at Frontier Middle School, 7600 N.E. 166th Ave., Vancouver. Attendees will be able to review displays, speak with staff and share comments.
An online open house will also be available from Nov. 12 through Dec. 1 at https://www.clark.wa.gov/smp2020.
