2A GSHL Football: Mark Morris 28, Woodland 0

Mark Morris eliminated Woodland from postseason contention with a 28-0 shutout victory at Longview Memorial Stadium.

Timur Berishev, Keoni Makaiwi and Bryson Webb all had short touchdown runs, and Cole Busch found Jack Shipley for a 2-yard score for the Monarchs. The Beavers trailed 21-0 at halftime.

Woodland ends the year 2-7. Mark Morris finished 3-6. With the result, it means Columbia River qualified in the fourth and final 2A Greater St. Helens League playoff spot and will play Tumwater next week.
