Hazel Dell Parade of Bands awards announced

The Hazel Dell Parade of Bands drew 148 entries on Saturday, including 26 bands from Oregon and Washington.

Parade organizers honored the following entries as part of its 2019 theme: “Generations of Music — Celebrating 55 Years.”

Millar Construction won the Grand Marshal Award.

The Division I Director’s Award for equestrian entries was presented to Riverview Community Bank, Clark County Fair Court. The Clark County Fair Mounted Patrol won a blue ribbon.

The Division II Association Award for noncommercial entries was presented to Miss Teen La Center. A blue ribbon was presented to Clark County Special Olympics; a red ribbon to Amboy Territorial Days and a white ribbon to Vancouver Ballet Folkloric.

The Division III President’s Award for commercial entries was presented to Glenwood Place Senior Living. A blue ribbon was presented to People’s Community Credit Union; a red ribbon was presented to Clark Regional Wastewater District and a white ribbon to Fred Meyer.

The Division IV Founders Award for classic cars was presented to Bob Bryant. Mustangs Unlimited won a blue ribbon, and the 40 et 8 Locomotive won a red ribbon.

The Division V Chairman’s Award for specialty vehicles was presented to Fort Vancouver Antique Equipment. Marine Cadets of Washington won a blue ribbon, while iQ Credit Union won a red ribbon and Triple J Towing won a white ribbon.
