Ridgefield schools to host tour of projects

RIDGEFIELD — The Ridgefield School District will host a patron tour from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. May 29 starting at the Ridgefield Administrative & Civic Center, 510 Pioneer St.

Bus transportation will be provided to the other locations on the tour, which include Ridgefield High School’s vocational education building and the site of current construction of the Ridgefield High School expansion project. The tour will also include a visit to the property in the Claiborne Acres section of the city, south of Northeast 279th Street and east of North 65th Avenue, on which the district hopes to build a proposed new K-4 elementary school.

Check-in starts at 8:15 a.m., and a continental breakfast will be provided before the tour. To register, send an email to communications@ridgefieldsd.org, and provide the name and email address of each attendee.
