BATTLE GROUND — The Battle Ground Community Library is turning 10, and to celebrate, the library and Friends of the Battle Ground Community Library are hosting a day full of activities. There will be music, crafts, a 3D printer demonstration and refreshments.

The celebration will run from 1 to 5 p.m. May 18 in the Meyer Memorial Trust Community Room of the library, 1207 S.E. Eighth Way in Battle Ground.

Fort Vancouver Regional Library District recently completed a refresh of the facility, including a new mural in the teen area, new furniture in the children’s and teen’s area, and new carpet throughout the building. New acoustic panels, donated by Battle Ground Lions Club, have also been installed to help reduce noise levels in the library.
