CAMAS — The Friends and Foundation of the Camas Library will host its spring used book sale, and this year, it’s longer than ever before. The sale runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday in the upstairs meeting rooms at the Camas Public Library, 625 N.E. Fourth Ave.

There will be a special bag sale Monday, where shoppers can bring their own bag and fill it with as many books as possible for $5.

Otherwise, it will cost $2 for hardcovers and $1 for paperbacks and children’s book, with special prices for special finds.

The sale helps support services and programs at the library, including the summer reading program, four book discussion groups, storytimes, activities for kids, Craft-o-Rama, and sleepovers for kids and teens. This year, the library is raising funds to remodel the storytime room and turn it into an early learning center, and book sale proceeds will help that project.
