SPOKANE — Avista Corp. reported first-quarter profit of $115.8 million.
On a per-share basis, the Spokane-based company said it had net income of $1.76. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 52 cents per share.
The utility posted revenue of $396.5 million in the period.
Avista shares have dropped nearly 1 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 19 percent in the last 12 months.
