Comcast seeks volunteers to help spruce up Riverview Elementary School from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today for Comcast Cares Day. Volunteers will wash windows, landscape, clean, repair and more. Lunch and T-shirts provided.

Clark County Public Works Park Division seeks volunteers to help with the Frenchman’s Bar Regional Park litter cleanup from 9 a.m. to noon on May 25, June 22 and July 27. Duties include collecting litter throughout the park, along the banks of the Columbia River and at Blurock Landing. These efforts will help prevent trash from entering the Pacific Ocean. Parking passes are provided.

Columbia Little League is looking for concession workers to volunteer from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, May through July. Duties include welcoming guests at the concession stand, processing cash payments and keeping the stand clean and sanitized. Minimum age of volunteers is 16.

The National Association of Letter Carriers needs volunteers for flexible shifts from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 11 for the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Volunteers with pickups, trailers, SUVs or other high-capacity vehicles are especially needed, to pick up food donations from carrier routes. North County Community Food Bank needs volunteers to stock food bank pantry shelves, sort and inspect food donations, prepare client food orders and monthly commodities for distribution, unload deliveries, take in donations, maintain cleanliness of the food bank and other essential tasks. Drivers are also needed to pick up donations from Battle Ground grocery stores. A high level of professionalism, customer service and a friendly personality is a must. Drivers usually begin their day at 7:30 a.m. and are asked to serve one weekly shift of four to five hours.

Salvation Army Food Bank is looking for a bread truck driver to pick up donations from area markets from 7 to 11:30 a.m. two days a week. No CDL required. Volunteers to stock shelves and distribute food are also needed; these shifts are flexible and start at a one-hour commitment.
