A local youth basketball tournament program has gained some additional financial backing.
Blaze NW, a fire restoration company, has agreed to sponsor basketball tournaments hosted by the Police Activities League of SW Washington, according to an activities league news release.
“We are so grateful for companies like Blaze NW who use their time, energy and resources to make our community stronger,” the release reads. “With their support we will be able to strengthen our existing tournament program and hopefully expand it a little as well.”
Developments in the partnership can be found on the activities league’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts, the release said.
