BATTLE GROUND — Battle Ground Community Library this month will host a 10-year celebration featuring music, crafts and snacks.

Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries recently “refreshed” the facility, adding a new mural, new furniture in the youth parts of the library and new carpet. The Battle Ground Lions Club also donated new acoustical panels, helping to reduce noise in the 14,000-square-foot building.

The celebration runs from 1 to 5 p.m. May 18 at the library, which is at 1207 S.E. Eighth Way, Battle Ground.
